Hi! My call name is Spirit—like the spirit of friendship. Get it? My mom sometimes calls me “Possum Head” and I am a REAL character! My grandmother, on both my dam’s and sire’s side is Ch. Dehra-Pepperhill Charmaine is real famous. She was the number one PBGV in the nation when she was being shown. She won 23 best in shows which was a record then, although it has now been broken. Oh well! Mom got me from Nick Frost and Carol Bond in North Carolina and I’m so glad, ‘cause I love my life at JUS PBGVs. When I was a puppy, I got 4 points at my first 2 dog shows, but then I decided to quit growing! I’m only 12 ½ inches tall, even on tippy toes, and that’s not tall enough to show now, since I’m over a year old. So much for genetics and my grandmother! But, I am a number one hunter! And I’ll hunt anything! I even hunt the fish in the fish pond. I run around the pond till I find my fish; slide into the pond like a seal; dive under the water and grab the fish and throw it out onto the bank. Yeah, it’s kinda tough on the fish, but mom ALWAYS catches me and puts the fish back. But one day—I’ll have fish for lunch!
