The ONLY Problem with PBGV's

It's not their continuous barking, that they do the whole day long.
It's not their pulling you on a walk, those little rascals can be strong!
It's not their digging of great big holes, and they do it with such ease.
You'd think they wanted their barking to sound like it was Chinese!

It's not the unique expression in their darling fuzzy faces.
It's not their independence-Nope! "Not going through YOUR paces!"
It's not the hair they leave behind, or their muddy little feet.
It's not their getting out the door and heading for the street!

It's not the chewing of furniture or on one of your best shoes.
Or the shredding of the paper-"I'm just trying to read the news!"
It's not their strange appetite-from the dog food that you scoop.
They'll eat anything before them-from paper to wood to poop!

It's not their wagging tail, that a table it can clear.
It's not their love of hunting-don't call them then-"Can't hear!"
It's not their crazy antics that make you laugh until you cry.
It's not their rolling in disgusting stuff that makes you wonder why?

It's not their focus on merchandise when you go shopping in a store.
It's not the look on their precious faces that tells you, "Buy some more!"
It's not the barking that they do to you, when you've left them all alone.
You know the barks are obscenities-"Don't you know enough to phone?""

It's not their sleeping in your bed, with no concern about your space.
Or which end of their bodies winds up directly in your face.
It's not the embarrassment that they cause, when you want them to perform.
After all the time you spent training, you want to do them bodily harm!

Agility, tracking, obedience, show-they're capable of doing it all!
But sometimes they just don't want to! "When I'm ready, I'll give you a call."
It's not their exploring nature, there is just so much to smell.
They know everything that's happened-what a story those odors do tell!

It's not their frog dogging in the yard, just running full speed it's so fun!
It's not their belief that life is great; "Now, I'll just cat-nap in the sun."
It's not those wonderful eyes-if you own a PB you know.
With just one look they tell you, "Oh, I love you so!"

The only ONE problem with PB's, if you have lost one, you know.
The ONLY problem with PB's is having to let them go!
